Crew cabs, ALL motors: how fast?
Hey guys,
Just curious how a 4.8L crew, a 5.3L, a 5.7L and 6.0L stack up to an 8.1L and diesel in a 0-60 romp.
Anyone have any stats?
I'm talking stock... no programmers etc...
I realize gears have an effect, but assume no optional gears (3.73s).
Just trying to figure out what the weight of 2500hd frame does to performance really.
THanks,
Dr. Stew

well my 6.2 ran a 9.81 in the 1/8 and 15.10 in the 1/4 with heavyass 22's (summer)
ran it once at the 1/8 mile track with the stock 20's and ran a 9.48. (summer)
so there was a .33 of sec slower diff in the 1/8 mile with my 22's as opposed to the stock 20's.
that being said, i would think it should have ran atleast a 14.7 if not a little faster in the 1/4 with the 20's?
all these runs were completely stock except cai.
still have not run it after my wheatley tune.
