On areas that are welded, there is a similiar treatment, a weld thru coating if u will. Same purpose, to prevent rust formation, when welding is necessary.

Temporary fitment of drainage trays:
Put the extractors on top of them and sprayed baby powder to make sure the trays were properly positioned.
Dotted line is cut point to alter for center drainage. Once I do proper measuring I make the changes with some fibreglass and direct it onto the rad shroud or just behind the fans...
Plastic screws and washers will create the proper angles of flow towards the drainage. Starting to drill the holes for the extractors next...very scarey to put holes in my hood! Drilling them from the bottom to avoid cutting the ribs...done about half so far...pix will be up when its done. Be a real prob if I cut thru a rib or outside where the extractors/trays support them! I hate doing stuff myself - u only ever see the mistakes, but its better than paying for **** work I guess!
