Default Damaged Tru-Cool 40K...

I ordered my tru-cool 40k cooler from Oregon Performance Trans on 11/26 and it finally got here yesterday and when I opened up the box the cooler had just a few bent fins which isn't a big deal because I can bend those back but, the one connection that the trans line going into was bent about 45 degrees and the area of the cooler around that connection is bent a little bit. Has anyone else had problem getting these coolers in damaged condition? Do you guys think it still would work if I tried to bend it back? Thanks guys.

I'm just afraid of sending it back because it took 11 days to get here. I already messaged Oregon Performance Trans and let them know that I want to return it and exchange it for another one hopefully in better condition.

So 11 more days isn't worth the wait of a brand new one??

It'd be longer than 11 days to send it back then get a brand new one. Don't get me wrong I'll have no problem with waiting for a brand new one...I just wanna start wrenching and get it on the truck is all.

send it back and get a new one, OR waste your time, install it, have it leak or have poor flow, then eat a trans, OR do all the work just to remove it and do it all over again.

Exactly.. don't go and rush it.. Thats like trying to do something when you don't have the correct parts or tools to do it.. It usually **** up... Wait and do it right the first time.. Ever heard of the saying??

" not enough time to do it right the first time, but always enough time to do it again"
