Default In-Dash Gauge pod fab work, yes, I'm still working on installing the gauges, lol

Here are some pics of where my Nordskog Boost Gauge will mount. I decided to take the keyed, passenger, air-bag-switch out and use the pcs contained in this assembly to fab up a gauge pod. The face is the exact same texture as the rest of the black interior pcs as I used the shelf I had to remove from the overhead console to mount the billet "SoCal Diesel" pod. It took about 2 hours to get it looking decent. After I hogged out the inner plastic framework it was very very flimsy, so I added some support via scrap plastic and aluminum rivets. It is actually stroger than stock now anyway, I attached the flat black plastic face with heavy duty 2 sided tape to isolate it from any plastic to plastic vibration, and again, I will use a 1 1/2 ID O-ring to isolate the gauge from the plastic. All I used was a rivet gun, a dremel, a 2" hole saw, and some small files to get it "OK" looking, most of it will be hidden so a little roughness isn't going to bother me too much, the test fit was successful so on to my last 2 gauges enjoy!

Thanks Jeff.
Overhead pod turned out very nice, I dropped the headliner to dynamat(sound deadner) the ceiling surfaces while I was at it.
I haven't run the truck yet, waiting on one more thing, I should get it sometime next week
