Does gm paint all their dashes? I have a 2000 z28 I bought new and I don't want to have problems with that dash too. I rarely drive it and rarely clean it and It's still fine, but I use zaino products on it.

the only problems I know of is on the 99+ trucks, which have a hard plastic dash. I don't think f-bodies have that issue, but the question might be better asked at ls1tech.com where they have a large group of vehicles like your's

I keep mine in the garage, no problems whatsoever.

Is the damage possibly accelerated by constant sun exposure?

Yeah mine is an 01' garage kept as well and absolutely no peeling on the dash at all. I do use some protectant once in a while but not all the time and not that much when I do use it. The only place I have had problems is that black trim piece right below the radio where I rest my hand while operating the radio.

I have the same problem in my 00'. I noticed it started peeling, and at the time I was using ArmorAll. I stopped using it right then and I haven't used it since. I just use a rag to wipe of the dash now and it stopped peeling. My warranty is long gone.

My dash was replaced under warranty a few years back. Since then I hvae not used any cleaner on the interior. I just wipe with a mild soap/water mix. Since then more of the interior has peeled.

Does anyone know if I can get paint from the dealer to repaint the interior???

Stop using ArmorAll............... Delaminates the dashes horrible in NBS GM trucks.

I swear by my 303.
