Default Dash Wiring!

Wheres the best place to tap into the Dash lighiting....

Im installing some guages and dont know exactly where to put the white dash light wires...

I would suggest at the headlight switch. The wire to the dimmer wheel. Probe it and work the wheel the probe light will dim with it. I don't remeber the color.

In the fuse panel, theres a 10 amp fuse marked illum. Just get a mini fuse tap and hook your gauge light to it. Its the fuse for the dash light, so it will dime your new gages with the dash lights.

i would invest in a light tester. such a simple and cheap tool that can be so valuable.
