Difference between 2500 and 2500HD?

im kinda getting it figured out, ya I was dealing with the manufacturer but they weren’t much help. But ya the 1500hd is basically the same thing as the 2500hd. It what seeing is the 2500 has a 2 inch body lift so the front bumper the plastic cap is way thicker. 1500hd front bumper is the same as 1500 cuz no body lift. So there for the 2500 aftermarket bumper mounting brackets will work for the 1500hd, but the bumper itself is too thick and will be up on the grill/running lights. And the 1500 aftermarket Bumper would fit but the mounting brackets won’t work lol. Just a **** show. Think I’ll just have to do some modifications on brackets to make something work

You could swap to the HD grill/bumper, but that requires you to also swap the hood (I think?)
I see RCSB trucks (obviously those are 1500) with that mod driving around. I actually bought a regular hood from a kid. He pulls up when we met with a primered HD hood on hir RCSB.
