Default Difference in coil packs? Need to swap to make covers work?

So I bought a set of Edelbrock coil covers to put on my 2001 silverado 5.3. But It looks like they will only work with LS1 style coil packs like whats on the 98-02 Camaro's. So has anyone installed these with the original 5.3 coil packs? Or should I just swap to the LS1 coil packs? What are the diffences?

Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem, ended up shipping the covers back. They did not line up with the holes on the covers.
