could still be a gasket or a cracked hose if it was leaking visibly on the ground

my 4.8 had an occasional drop on the ground, not much to worry about. Still under warranty, turned out to be a head gasket. No coolant in oil.

Would be really cool If you had a buddie or some one who had a pressure tester. Probably would help alot!
