Do headers just plain need to be tighted

DO HEADERS NEED TO BE TIGHTENED ONCE IN A WHILE?
ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO I PAID TO HAVE 3 BROKEN MANIFOLD BOLT TAKEN OUT SO HEADERS COULD BE INSTALLED , NOW I HAVE ONE HEADER BOLT BROKEN AND ONE BOLT LOOSE WHICH MEANS IM LEAKING, MY TRUCK IS RUNNING LIKE **** NOW,,,,IM PISSED AS I SAID IN MY OTHER THREAD THE MUFFLER GUY WANT 'AROUND' 300 $ TO EXTRACT THIS BOLT
I FEEL LIKE I BEEN THROUGH THIS BEFORE . . .

Gaskets have a small roll in this type of thing... I run paper Mr-gaskets on my race car bc there on and off so much and cheap, usually after a few heat cycles I have to tighten them again. But with metal gaskets usually its a torque and forget them... Did you use any loctite?

I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF GASKETS WENT ON OR IF HE PUT LOC TIGHT ON THE HEADERS IM GETTING TIRED OF PAYING GUYS TO GET BOLTS OUT THOUGH I KNOW THAT MUCH M Y TRUCK IS RUNNING LIKE CRAP![Sigh](https://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/images/smilies/sigh1.gif)
