do i really need a trans cooler??

Correct, it only takes 1 time. Depending on temp it reaches when overheated, it can damage more & more in the trans. Why? Just to save $.
I have a factory cooler BTW.

i've got the factory cooler too between the radiator and front grille. Tiny little thing though haha. But its always kept my temps under 160-165 even when beating on it, back when i could read it from the aeroforce

Yep, that's who I payed also...I guess that the same guy has a different screen name here, the pics and post are exactly the same also

I think they just happen to work for/run/own EAD Performance or something along those lines. They are also the ones that make the input gear for adapting the NVG-149 AWD transfer-case to a 4L80. I also bought my Moto-Forge wheels from them.

Either of you guys been to there site recently??? Its got some kind of pop up that wont let you do anything...

Nope, I've never even been to their site...I didn't realize that EAD Performance was even a business, I thought it was just "some guy" lol...I like the brackets though, just painted them black along with my trucool last weekend

My tuner says to go with a cooler when i do a stall on my 2010 5.3 Colorado.

Definitely a good idea, a higher stalled converter will generate more heat, even a big converter with a low stall rating will, although a mild converter can get by with less cooler as it will not generate as much heat as a more agressive converter.

yea that **** pissed me off, thought to myself yea this is a good way to get people to spend money on your site, make them pissed and wanna leave..
