Default Door handle and window prob

Well my passenger window sounds like it's scraping something when i roll it up or down..
then today, my handle on the passenger side wont work. the damn thing is real loose and i cant open the door. looks like I am going to have to take the damn panel off again

i think maybe the plastic holder that attaches to the rod that opens the door came off or something.. and as far as the window, i have no idea about that.....

Looks like if no rain on Saturday I'll be checking these things as well as trying to take the amber out of the headlights...

I had the same problem when I had my handles off to be painted. There is very little clearance from the door opening rod to the glass. I bet like you said the snap retainer came off and the rod came out of the handle. I do not know why it would be loose though?? Unless you mean the 3 bolts that hold the handle assembly on. If the chrome grab handle part is loose only, not the painted part, then it sounds like the plastic retaining rod that holds the spring and rod holder on came loose or broke.

the painted part isnt loose, what i meant was the handle, you can pull it and it feels like there is no resistance, so the retainer most likely either came off or broke... i hope it didnt break!

I am not psychic or anything but I bet the retaining pin came out or broke, which would probably mean the rod is still attached (just not to the handle, so feel around the bottom when you pull the panel (I pull those damn things every couple weeks it seems) and look for a spring down there. If for some reason I am actually guessing right, then I can tell you the spring is confusing to put back on, so you might want to compare it to the stock handles you took off. Man I think it will look sweet when you take the amber off the headlights. Did you get some clear corners or something? What's next on your list for exterior mods? Talk to you later dude.

i havent gotten the clear corners yet, but i think i am going to wait until i get them before taking the amber off the headlights...

i am currently waiting on some chrome "Z71"
decals to replace the factory ones that are on the sides of the truck.. they look pretty sweet..
hopefully they'll look good on the truck

the hopefully order the 3rd brake light cover as well... just throwing around $40 here, $50 there..
