Driving slower!

Driving slower!
Now that i can go 0-60 or 65-120 in a matter of a couple of seconds I find I drive a little slower It's kind of amusing actually, knowing i can beat most of the ricers around here makes me less inclined to waste my time showing them
I guess I'm waiting for the 'right' ******** to come along!
ps; I averaged 16.7mpg last night over a 300 mile round trip through mountain roads getting into boost a few times, is that about right?
Oh yeah, 3.73's and running at 69-75mph.
I guess I'm waiting for the 'right' ******** to come along!

I drive slower too, for the most part. Your mpg seems about right. I've gotten as high as 20mpg on the highway, while cruising at 70mph, on perfectly flat roads.

Good thread. Saved me and everyone else another post from me.
So if I do these mods to my LQ9 6.0L: Radix, 3.0" pulley, Dynatech LT's, Snow kit, 2600 PI stall, Comp 220/570/570/115 lsa, & Nelson dyno tuned.
What kind of mileage can I expect under normal driving conditions?
I also have the 3.73 gears and factory 20's.
I drive mostly 68-70mph on normal to & from work.
I currently get an average of 16mpg with factory tune. When I was tuned by Allen, it upped that to an average of 17-18 mpg. I've been without his tune for 5 months now.

I think I actually get a little better around town, with the tighter converter. Highway seems about the same if I stay out of it. On flat roads I seem to get about 18.5 ave. and like I stated above almost 17mpg running mixed flat/mountain roads and punching it a few times
