Other than the back of the trans hanging from the wiring harnesses a broken shaft and the ground wire to my inline fuel pump, everything else seemed intact.

Of course I can't start her up to see if the engine, converter, differential, had any damge due to a back wash of vibration or something. I am going to pull the trans and converter and get them checked and/or fixed and hope for the best on the engine and diff.
I already have a call into a driveshaft company, Chuck @ FLT already has me on the list but said it's 3-4 weeks out. The converter is a PI so I have one free clean-up/re-stall so I just have to pay shipping on that one. If the engine and diff are OK I can get out of this for under $ 4K
Getting a carbon fiber driveshaft and billet output shaft.
Would be nice to have another car at this point. $210 a week for a Cobalt is

You can lease a car for less than that bro! Man that sucks, sorry to hear about all the damage. Good job on the documentation, I'll learn my lesson from you...time to get some safey loops for the yokes and drive shaft.

Man, that sucks! Scared the **** out of me when it broke for sure! Got lucky though considering how many guys we had walking around the shop and only Tommy got hit with a seal! Wish I could have rode home with you and Brad just to see the wifes face, but had to finish tuning the Hummer.

Sucks something broke, but good seeing you again! Just give me a shout if ya need anything.

Yes, the output shaft was bent and sheared off. The rest are parts of the tailshaft housing and the rear main case.
