I've searched and can't find what i'm looking for. Most threads are about upgrading pre 06 trucks. I have an 06 1500hd with the 6.0. What would it take to ditch the clucth fan? I have Hp Tuners so programming is a nonissue. Is it plug and play, with just the harness and relays? Or does the pcm need to be pinned? Can I just order everything needed, such as fans, harness, etc. from GM for an 06?

Any help would be much appreciated!

You'll need the fans, harness, and PCM tuning. If you buy a pre-made harness, such as the one from Nelson Performance, it'll have everything you need.

I though your truck would already have fans but since it's a 1500hd I guess not. All you need is a 05+ GM fan from a 1500 and a harness that gets pinned into you PCM. You can either make your own harness from the 05+ GM wiring diagram or buy one(like stated above).
