Exclamation Electric fan install?

So yeah I have been messing with tuning on my 4.3 and pretty much decided that I would like to install the 05 electric fans and 34" radiator, I would like to get a whole front harness out of a 05 truck so I can get the dual horns set up with the wirring for the fans and relays I like things done OE like and I should just be able to adjust the fans with the HP tuners I have, I am curious about the two different types of silverado fans though is the 07 prior have the 5,7 blade and the 07 later has the 7,7 blade and which is better do they have the same connectors?

The connectors are the same, I went with the 07+ because it was less expensive. The hardest part of the process is getting the clutch fan loose. Use the search because there are 3 or 4 good ways to do it.

2 autozone tools later and a bent screw driver I decided to take the water hose, a towel, and a cutting torch.

You should check out the 2011 electric fans there a bit different then the other nnbs electric fans and the nbs fans. The fans on my truck seem to be bigger or at least have a bigger shroud and seem to flow alot more then my buddies 06 electric fans. They are a bit louder tho when both fans kick on but not noticeable when just one is running. I'll post a pic of my fans tomorrow so you can see what I'm talking about.

I used a pipe wrench with a wooden shim to hold the pulley, and a water pump wrench. with a 2' half inch drive attached to it. Came right off.
