Default Electrical Nightmare!!!

Ok, I need some professional opinions here... I have an 05 silverado that I'm taking parts off of to install on my 2000 sierra. I have takin the e-fans and radiator, and was wondering if it would be feasable to try and remove just the wiring harness for the fans since it is semi-seperate. Or would I be better off just making my own???

I know there are guys on the boards that make harnesses pretty cheap. That is where I got mine.

yes, take the harness of with it too . . . one pin into #42, but I can't remember the other.

I don't know if your 2000 harness can be wired for 2 PCM controlled pins for the fans.

If not, sell it, and get one of the other harnesses or make your own.

Its Pins 42 and 33. Look for a auxiliary fuse/relay box under the hood, I think it contains the relays for the fans. But as stated above you have a 2000 which can only use one pin (from what I've heard). If I were you I would get the fan relay box(for the stock look) and build a harness around it.

What i did.... i took the radiator and Efans out of a 05 and cut the 2 connectors off.. Then wired the connectors to my homemade Efan Harness.
A harness is easy to make.

Ok, the truck I have is a 2000 GMC V6, I have a 2004 5.3 from a tahoe with harness to swap over. I already just cut the connectors and grabbed the relay box. I didn't feel like goin thru the harness to trace down 8 wires. I do need a wiring diagram so I can try to utilize the stock functions for the fans. I am trying to make the truck appear as "stock" as possible. Another ? I have, is how difficult is it to remove the OEM pwr windows and locks from an 05 and install them into the 2000?? Any help would be great!
