Engine oil flush worth the money?
I went to the dealer with my 09 gmc 5.3l and got the oil changed at a normal 3,500 mile oil ineterval and thay said the oil looked very dirty i seen it in the test pad and it did look perty dirty dark brown. The dealer said it could cause varnishing at the top end after manny miles if it stays dark after every 3,500 miles. Is this normal collar after a 3,500 mile interval and also is it woth the $39 dallars for the 15 min engine flush. The total miles on the truck are 16,000. Thanks hope to here back.

What the hell kind of oil is your dealership using? I change mine ever 6000 which is actually what newer vehicles call for and it's not all that bad when I change it. That's with 167k miles on the truck.
I'd start checking the oil after they change it to make sure they are even changing it.
If you are concerned I'd pour a can of seafoam in the crank case about 100 miles before your next oil change. However with that few miles you shouldn't need it.
Make sure they are using good oil and filter. IMO use a WIX oil filter and a full synthetic oil.
