Engine Shipping?
Who have you guys had luck with when it comes to shipping? I have a long block in Alabama that I need shipped to me here in Pa. I am not having any luck in findiung a freight company to ship it for me.

I had mine shipped from Indiana to NH, but picked it up at Old Dominion Freight in North east Mass. about half hour from me. They loaded it in my truck for free and I was on my way.
Just try and find a local shipping port and have it shipped there.

look up motor freight.... SAIA does alot of buisness around here, all you have to do is have it paletized and a forklift to load it, they'll call you when it gets to the local terminal and you can go pick it up, delivered to your doorstep would cost a bit more.

I used R&L also, from Michigan to Maryland. I picked it up at the terminal and it was a bit cheaper. I think it was about $150-$200, but can't remember exactly. I had another motor shipped from Oaklahoma, and that was about the same price.
