what bulbs did you use, or you got a link?plug n play? im assuming they are the same for newer trucks.. ive got an escalade cluster and have thought about getting a new stainless blue overlay for it, but now seeing yours think blue led's would prob look just as good.

These bulbs from SuperbrightLED's:
(they will fill out the cluster more evenly than any other design / no hot spots)
*keep in mind that although LED bulbs don't burn out quick, the balast/resistor burns out quicker on these than a regular bulb. Our clusters are pretty easy to pull though!

WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb
12 VDC 5-LED Wedge Base bulb (194/168 type)
Super Wide Viewing Angle bulb uses 4 radially mounted LEDs aiming out the sides and one High Flux LED on top
With built-in voltage regulator
Select LED Color

plug and play = unplug your old cluster and plug in the escalade cluster / same with the LED bulbs.
I forget which years have the insrument cluster bulbs soldered in to the bases. If that is the case you unscrew the whole socket and replace it with the new bulb. I've gotten them from bayareaamusements.

you can only do the LEDs with 99-02. the 03 and up are soldered in but can be changed with a little bit of electrical knowhow.

There ya go... 03 and up, you just twist the lampholder 1/4 turn with the soldered bulb to remove and put in the replacement lampholder I posted along with new replaceable bulbs / LED's!

as far as i know the 03 and up are soldered in to the breadboard and can't be changed without being cut out and replaced

here's a pic of my 99 stock twistlock bulbs...

I just spent the last few minutes looking this up, and the 03-up are indeed soldered to the board and no lampholder. So to do it you would need a bulb with built in resistor and to solder it in, to much hassle for me.. thats alright, i keep telling myself the newer clusters look better than the older ones anyway

meh... shouldn't be too hard. i've heard that you can simply heat the solder a little bit and the bulbs drop right out.

I have the same one I just got from a friend of mine, only thing is the clear plastic lense is broke off completely. And I figured I can use my stock one off my 00 yukonbut its different near the messege center, and where the trans temp gauge. Any ideas on what I can do, I was gonna swap the whole plastic bezel with my 00 one but it seems like it wont work near that trans temp, and messege area. I really would like to use the escalade bezel but you cannot just replace the lense. Any tipps fellas, If its not gonna work I'll prob just sell it
