Escalade cluster speedo

what bulbs did you use, or you got a link?plug n play? im assuming they are the same for newer trucks.. ive got an escalade cluster and have thought about getting a new stainless blue overlay for it, but now seeing yours think blue led's would prob look just as good.

(they will fill out the cluster more evenly than any other design / no hot spots)
*keep in mind that although LED bulbs don't burn out quick, the balast/resistor burns out quicker on these than a regular bulb. Our clusters are pretty easy to pull though!
WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb
12 VDC 5-LED Wedge Base bulb (194/168 type)
Super Wide Viewing Angle bulb uses 4 radially mounted LEDs aiming out the sides and one High Flux LED on top
With built-in voltage regulator
Select LED Color
plug and play = unplug your old cluster and plug in the escalade cluster / same with the LED bulbs.
I forget which years have the insrument cluster bulbs soldered in to the bases. If that is the case you unscrew the whole socket and replace it with the new bulb. I've gotten them from bayareaamusements.
Lampholder

There ya go... 03 and up, you just twist the lampholder 1/4 turn with the soldered bulb to remove and put in the replacement lampholder I posted along with new replaceable bulbs / LED's!

I just spent the last few minutes looking this up, and the 03-up are indeed soldered to the board and no lampholder. So to do it you would need a bulb with built in resistor and to solder it in, to much hassle for me.. thats alright, i keep telling myself the newer clusters look better than the older ones anyway

cluster
I have one in my 2000 Silverado. Bought the cluster off ebay from jennings chevy. Just have to get the right year, I believe they list what fits what. This was a couple years ago though. They are just plug and play, plus you gain the trans temp gauge that is prewired from the factory on the truck. I changed the bulbs to blue LED's as well.
