You are correct I think it can be made to work with enough tinkering on hp since we got the knowledge and software to screw with it. But without that just grabbing a as flashed stock pcm the van pcm wont work truck ac and truck pcm wont work the van stock for stock.
With all damm gremlins hes got going the johnny cash route it's way easier to go get a matched system out of one vehicle and rock and roll then start modding from there.
After that you should be good to go.

I'm in east Mesa. Every time I go to the junkyard all the trucks are picked through or the harnesses are cut. I guess I can look at market place for a truck but I haven't seen any yet worth buying.

What junkyards do you suggest? I have only been to the pull n save on stapley.

Will parts from an 06 truck work or do I need to stay in the 03-05 range for it to work correctly? I found what I need locally but it's off a 06
