Default F body seats in 04 reg cab silverado?

As much as I have been anjoying my truck the seats leave something to be desired given my prefference for sporty buckets in my previous cars.

I have a set of 01 transam power lumbar buckets from my 90 TA project and thought they would be a great option. Especialy with the suspension mods I plan. I may even use my MX6 seats if they dont sell. Some of the most comfortable and supportive seats out there imo.

Now I know the belt spool being attached to the stock seat is one issue and Im considering remounting them to the B pillar or fabricating a mount to the TA seat frames since I will be reskining them anyway.

My question is have F body seats been done before in the newer trucks? I searched here but found nothing. I know S10 folks have done it several times but no clue what has been done on the full sized trucks.

If you have done similar swaps or any seat swap at all your ideas would be apriciated.

I think I have seen GTO seats in full size trucks. I don't know if they are the same as F-body seats.

They are not the same! Gto seats are 100 times better. Go with Gto seats or some nice racing seats

I saw the gto thread, they are nice seats for sure but I don't have them sitting in my basement.

GP GXP seats are nice also but the set I might have got is long gone now.

The TA seats I have are much more bolstered than the ones above, so are the mazda seats for that matter and either are better for hard driving than the sedan seats are.

they'll probably work, but you'll have to make a pedistal type bracket, as they will sit too low. I would think.
