Factory radio locked??
i sold my stock radio to my friend and it works when the key is forward but when he turns the truck on it says locked.. i know i gotta take it to the dealership but they wwanna charge me 100 bucks to unloock it.. does anyone know the code???

i think up to 02 there is a series of buttons to push but 03+ i believe you have to get it vin coded at a dealer there was a thread floating around here a while back....BTW what dealer did you ask because when i had mine done it was $45 but another dealer around here said it would be $100.
