most of the diesels around here only have a tuner and intake exhaust but there are a couple running like banks stuff and whatnot... but nothing really that fast...
i was just really curious about more lifted gas trucks i guess and what kinda setups ppl are running to make them pretty swift. Like sureshot and sharpshooters trucks are fast for what they are and they are fast compared to most other vehicles.
pretty much my goal i guess overall is around 600hp and something that is capable of mid-low 12s

well heres my current setup:
05 lq4, tr224 112lsa, 3400ish billet converter, pb lvl2, 4.56 gears, and long tubes....
the next round of mods for this year are 34" radiator, 05- fans, tbss intake, 60lb injectors. then im planning on goin turbo'd. im thinking of doin a front mount 70mm. I want a efficent setup that spools quickly and pulls atleast to 6500 or so. i dont plan to run more than 8-10lbs on the stock engine. This is my plan so far but im still researching and learning... I just want something thats all around fun to drive and can run decent times if i want...
not really wanting a supercharger.... before i wanted a procharger but i dont want to deal with belt slip and haing to buy a cog setup or somthing of that nature. Im really more of a turbo fan.
Any suggestions and advice im open too as im still learning more and more everyday and dont want to do it but once

That 70mm isnt going to get you 600rwhp through heavy mud tires, maybe through stock sized tires. Might want to think about a 76mm if youre intent on getting 600 to the ground through your wheel/tire combo. Kbracing would be the guy to talk to about your goals and what turbo to run since he would probably be the guy you'd buy the kit from too.

I have talked to a few ppl that said my converter will work well with the setup im wanting. And as far as the cam i know it will have to be swapped out... I will prolly have one spec'd or get a proven turbo cam. The only thing im wondering about is the gearing. Im not swapping my gear out again unless i blow the front and rear at the same time ... I dont think the gears will hurt me that much esp the gears will prolly help when im out of boost so my truck wont be lugging when just cruising
