anybody know what the fastest 99 and up manual trans silverado is?
maybe a goal i could possible work towards.

 

Not a popular topic, but my kind. I had to dig up an OLD thread because I couldn't remember my old times.
I ended up getting another 15hp and tq out of it after that run. Pretty sure I could have gotten a high 11 with traction aids and some minor weight reduction.

That was a 4.8, MP112 Magnacharger, 13 psi boost, meth injection, headers, 214/224 114lsa cam. 3.73 gears.

 

I believe Quik had fastest manual record of a 122mph at 12.1

 

Cool, didn't remember Quik having a manual. Or was it he went with a T56? I don't remember. Damn high mph for the time for sure.

He posts on plenty of other forums. LS1truck is just one that comes to mind. You don't make 800 rwhp with a 4.8 and no one hear about it.

well im half way into my 408 build and im hopin for high 400 to 500 whp. i already have the t56 with a full carbon to carbon clutch. do u think its possible to run 11 with the right tire suspension combo or am i gunna need to spray or boost to reach that goal?
