After watching my 11 yr olds football team get screwed repeatedly a couple weeks ago I can understand the urge to punch a blind or biased umpire.The urge to do it was real strong but I'm mature enough not to act and kept my mouth shut.Afterall It was only the championship game for the 8-11 yr old league in our city.My kid ran for 215 yards and scored 3 touchdowns and got beat by the refs.The main reason I kept my cool was to set a good example for my kid and because I don't like handcuffs or jailcells.

man as a little league umpire, i can tell ya it gets pretty wild sometimes. you would think that these kids are getting paid a **** load of money to play. I like to let them play, sometimes its halarious to watch. but every once and a while you get some parent that thinks his kid is the best ball player to ever grace the sport. imo this just hurts the kid because now he thinks he is the best and there for does nothing wrong. but hes only a kid and he will do things wrong. thats why they have coaches trying to teach these kids the fundamentals. granted there are a couple of kids that come through the leagues that are pretty bad A$$, but its very rare.
