Default Finding out witch options a truck has

Thursday im going to look at an 01 Chevy that is single cab short bed. It has a 5.3 and is an LS model. Where is the option list at on the truck. I am wanting to find out if it has a limited slip and possible what gear it has. I know the option code for the limited slip is G80, just kinda wondering where to find it. Any help thanks.

In the glove box. If it has gt3 before the G80, if it has a G80, then it has 3.73 gears if it has gt4 then it has 4.11 gears.

I had a 2000 and my sticker was in the console lid instead of the glove box.

BTW, the G80 in trucks will be a locking diff, not a limited slip.

The confusion is the G80 in cars is a limited slip. GM should have called one of them something different.

Yeah, I don't know why GM used the same RPO code.

This is an email someone sent to GM about the new camaro on the G80...

This is the email I got from GM Training on the question of it the rear diff on the Camaro is a locker since the RPO code is "G80" like the trucks G80 locker:

"Thank you for your question concerning the all new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. You asked, “Is the limited slip differential a g80 locker? the rpo order code in autobook shows "g80" as the code for the limited slip rear differential.”

Although the order code is G80, the Camaro has a Limited Slip Differential. It is not a locking differential like those found on our trucks.

Thanks again for your inquiry. Good luck and good selling!
