I know the first person who put a LS based motor in a newer S10.Guys name is David Lawerence and the truck is a silver 98 extended cab s10 Extreme look-a-like stepside.He went and bought a brand new truck and started the swap....Originally had a stock ls1 but now it has some kind of stroker LS engine in it...

When I did mine in 04, Ranwalk and Blacksheep both had already done theres......Man I can remember back when mid 12s was crazy fast.

1logote- I can bet you probably have one of the oldest original 6.0L swaps from the early days. That engine is absolutely a freak of nature and should probably be in a gm museum somewhere by now.
