Found this doohickey in my fuse box
Trying to recalibrate my HVAC system so the drivers side will blow heat.(which the recalibratoin didn't fix, gotta buy the actuator ) Opened up the fuse box in the dash by the drivers door and this thing was just sitting in there, not attached to anything at all, and i have NO idea what it is
Sorry for the bad quality, cell phone pics

Maybe the previous owner was a drug trafficker
Didn't think it was anything from the truck. My Dad has an 04 CCSB and he didn't have anything like that there.
Now i wanna know what it is

That is one of the brackets that is plastic welded to the underneath side of the dash cover up by the windshield. There are some metal tabs that stick out from the firewall that the piece pictured slips in under to hold the edge near the windshield down and in place.

I had been hearing a rattle sound from that area when i would turn the subwoofer up, think i just solved my problem, aside from my blown and rattling door speakers I haven't got around to fixing yet
