Alright guys, I'm trying to decide which air dam or valance to go with. I'd like to have an opening in the center of my bumper for when I install the intercooler.

I'm having trouble deciding which one of these to go with. Either way, it'll be black.

Here's a lower off of a Z71 truck. If you order one from an LTZ Suburban it'll be black instead of grey.



Right now I'm leaning towards the factory piece. I can keep my tow hooks, but it's extremely unlikely that I'll ever use them anyway.

Here's a piece that Goodmark offers. I can't find a picture of one other than chrome.

Sorry I don't have a direct pic of the bumper. These are the only pics I happen to have.

My truck is AWD, 4L80E, 3000 stall. In the end it'll also be a 6.0L and turbocharged. I've lowered it down a few inches. I'm trying to make it look 2WD. I want a sleeper truck.

That's why I am sort of leaning towards the factory piece. I asked my wife and she really likes the Goodmark piece.

You know what they say, happy wife, happy life. LOL. (Honestly she doesn't really care.)

I'm not sure how I feel about the Goodmark piece curving out instead of in.

What do you guys think?

 

If I could get my hands on a Z71 valance around here, I would jump at the chance. There's a Burb around here with one and it looks great IMO.

The valance on my 02' has been MIA since I first drove the truck, so I've lately been trying to find a replacement.

The black one ends up being 207.00 shipped to my door.

I haven't had any luck at the wrecking yards.

 

The blach tahoe/burban valance has my vote!

That's what I'm thinking to guys. I don't understand why the one that's on my truck is 65.00 but the one I want is 165.00.

Plus I wouldn't need to paint it since it comes black already.
