Funny rattling noise
When I'm on the highway doing over 50 mph, there seems to be a rattling noise which is coming from the passenger cowl area. It almost sounds like the windshield wiper is moving around, but its not. Anyone else experience this noise?

I Dont Know If This Helps, But I Know Some Friends That Used To Have The Same Problem, They Took Off Their Bugshield And The Noise Went Away???? I Guess The Way Some Bugshields And Designed The Air Hits Right Inbetween The Windshield And The Plastic And Makes It Sound Like That???(that Is What They Said?). My Aunt Had The Same Problem On Her 04 Ford And I Told Her About It And Sure Enough That Was The Problem..... I Wouldn't Know Cause I Dont Have A Bugshield????

Have a bug shield ?
There are 2 things making noise
There are rubber pieces that cover the hood hinges - at speeds over 50 - they will flop and hit the bottom of the hood - make noise - silicone them in place to the hinge
Also the windshield mouldings on either side - flop against the glass - will make a popping noise
remove the mouldings - apply double sided tape to the moulding - reinstall the moulding - and press the moulding to the glass - tape it in place for couple hours.
There are TSB's on both items above.
Drove me crazy for 6 months - til I fixed them -
