'01 sierra 1500 xtended cab 4x4 3.73 gears 5.3l bone stock. doing 90mph on a 300 mile road trip averaged about 19-20mpg. city averages around 13-14.

ill believe it when i see it. 90mph, 3.73 gears, that has to be near 3000rpm or more. no way 20mpg out of that.

12/18 mpg My excuse is 4:10's and heavy 20" rims. I think I will get a stall to completely screw my gas milage up.

ok there was about 50 miles of city driving. honest. i got 390 miles on 21 gallons. ok maybe thats closer to 18.5 mpg. i blame the city driving.

actually the 20"s should help your mileage at highway speeds ha ha. the bigger the circumference the slower it has to spin to travel the same distance . bigger is better at high cruising speed but bad for acceleration

lol, i wish i could get 50 mpg.. I really get around 13 city and 18 highway..
