gas pedal sticking?

if you're not too careful and leave the tb installed you MAY have issues of fouling plugs. I fouled mine the last time I cleaned my tb....but i used an excessive amount of tb cleaner too...

Usually cleaning the throttle body will cure a sticking gas pedal on a cable driven vehicle, although I know for a fact that the 99's had a problem with the throttle bodies sticking and it wasn't due to carbon build up. I had the same problem when my truck had only a few thousand miles on it, and the throttle body was totally clean. I checked it out myself and the throttle body assembly was at fault. I brought it in to the dealer since it was under warranty at the time, and there was a TSB outlining the the exact problem and stating to replace the throttle body with an updated one as the fix. (the problem would usually happen on the highway after letting off the gas and allowing the throttle body to sorta slam shut...then when I went to accel, the gas pedal would stick)
