4.25 the other day it now cost 50 bucks to fill up my DD

Last i heard there is no real reason why the price is going up, supply and demand are the same, its pure speculation causing the jump in price...

I know it goes up a little every summer then drops back down to almost where it was( all for no god damn reason) but it has never gone up this high....

Stopped and got $25 at 4.10 a gallon on the way home. That is a 1/4 tank in this K5. If I stay out of the secondary's, that will last me a week and a half.

If I get wound up and make one 0-60MPH run full throttle, it will use 1/8 tank.

Dang. On average i was burn 3.5-4 gallons a day just goin to work and back home. Now that i take my lunch to work and dont have to go anywhere i only burn about 3-3.5 gallons. It all depends on traffic tho. Some mornings its rediculous. Takes 45-60 minutes to get to work and only 25 to get home. And thats doin the speed limit.

The new house is 6 miles from the office. I can take back roads for all but 1/4 mile of that trip. I open my office at 9:30 and close at 5:30.

I am able to take a nice relaxed drive to and from work.

I drive rather slow as well. Most people get really annoyed when they are behind me. I do it on purpose. I get better fuel mileage then most people driving the exact same vehicle. I am self-employeed. Unless there is an emergency, I take my time.

I do have connections, yes. The pump is very camouflaged, replete with mechanical counters.

Moreso since I'm going FI in a couple of months. With my current setup on 93 I get pinging a 110+ MPH.

I buy at least 4 tanks a week most weeks. I could have one hell of a stimulus to my wallet with $2 a gallon gas.
