It was plug and play on my 2000, but I have heard of some trucks needing to be programmed at the dealer to activate something or other, but that seems to be rare. The sensor and wires should already be there either way.

Works great! I got my replacement cluster from digital_dash_solutions. They have a site with their info and an ebay store as well.

Did you transfer your mileage to the new cluster? Alot of dealerships will do it for a certain price. We do it for around $60.

99 is the oddball year that needs modifications to be plug and play, or you'll get an air bag light. Every other year should be plug and play (00-02, and 03-07), you'll just need the mileage programmed in.
