Great job OP! Yep, a simple sensor swap is all you need. I replaced my sensor a few months ago on my LQ4 suburban. The Lisle socket, a 3/8x1/4 adapter, a 1/4" extension and a 1/4 flex head ratchet worked for me. It's better if you can climb into the engine bay.

Lisle 13200 for the short sensor
Lisle 13250 for the tall one wire sensor.

You should be able to use 13250 on the short sensor as well

Yeah, I did not know there were actually different sockets for each sensor type. I swapped the 3 wire to 1 wire on my 99 Silverado. Now that I think about it, the socket did feel a bit of sloppy on the 3 wire sensor.

I've got the Lisle. I just checked but doesn't have a part number. It says, "USA 1 1/16 Warning: Do not use while engine is running."

Default Question at bottom about fuel line

Got a new sensor and got it put in. Easy peezy! Put the headers and the rest of the exhaust in today. Also working on wiring the top side of the engine.

As far as fuel line, what are the connectors called that clip onto the factory feed? My setup now has a female off the regulator and the fuel rail is obviously a male. I need a 10"ish extension? If I could find a male quick connect that had a barb fitting on the other end I'd just use some rubber fuel line. What do I need to search for?

Thanks again everyone!

Haha all good. You've made up for it with all the other info you've provided.

Default Sensor. What is it?

Where does this plug connect to? It has a ground and then goes to what I think is the cruise control motor.

Also, do ls3s have an oil level sensor? I have the plug in my trucks wiring harness but don't see the sensor on the new engine.
