Mine had 'em too....I think the tech is right, that's a LONG piece of pretty flat metal that is subject to all kinds of twisting forces....I'd be suprised to NOT see them actually

Yeah that is exactly what pisses me off, almost anytime I look into my mirror I see them and I get mad. I could never figure out where it came from but I guess it is really common reading this thread now

I second that, mine has them tooo. But I use my truck like a truck occasionally so I thought I did it, but from the sounds of this thread, I am starting to get pissed......

I went out and looked at the rails on my truck, and in looking at them i think it just may be that they used thin metal on the rails. i dunno.... oh well you know what.... "it's a truck guys!!" i know we all take alot of pride in our trucks, but you know what. I think to knitpick stuff like this makes no sense. the general has done a pretty good job at building us some exciting powerful trucks, and hey they may have used thinner metal, or maybe just the twisting. whatever it may be it is still a solid truck. and maybe the metal is thinner which may be lighter which we all know lighter = faster

true, if you are so concerned about it either remember you have a TRUCK or get an over the rail bed liner
