I have had the same issues. Also, had an issue where they shipped to my old address even after I changed it. I used slogging dickey most recently and they were actually cheaper when I compared the two "shopping carts". Also, almost had the same issue where they were going to send it to Texas instead of Cali, scogging dickey actually caught it before they sent the stuff out and called me to verify where it needed to be sent.

Thanks for the heads up. I just placed an order with Kay after dealing with GMPD. I've been looking for a part of a week. The part was just discontinued and not in stock, although it let me add it to my cart anyway. It then hit me with a $400 shipping charge. I contacted their customer service about why the shipping charge was so high and they said because it was discontinued...better luck next time.

Kay auto said they had it in stock so I ordered it...fingers crossed.

I can tell you that gmpd charges 3-10% over cost and makes all there profit in freight. If they charged you $400 in freight then they picked it up from another dealer and charged you the difference in freight.
