GMT 800 (NBS) Drop Thread Specs and Pics Required
#21
I apologize for the large pics.
Truck
2006 Chevy Silverado CCSB 2wd (Z85) with 4/6 drop
Tire Size
275/45/r20
Front Drop
-McGaughy 17"+ Spindles
-McGaughy 2" Lowering Springs
Rear Drop
-McGaughy 6" Rear Flip Kit/ C Notch
-McGaughy Rear Shock Extenders
Shocks
Front- McGaughy 1451
Rear- Factory GM shocks
Misc. Parts/Notes
-I would recommend not installing the rear bumpstops, my truck rides waaaayyy better then factory without them, bottoms out every so often but is not harsh.
-You need the carrier bearing shim if you have a 2 piece, I had a one piece so no issues.
-This tire size is perfect, doesn't rub at all.
-You do lose some turning radius with these spindles, but its still drivable.
Before (with 2'' shackles, 275/55/r20)
After (Still waiting on front to settle, currently at around 3" drop. Just installed this week)

4in roughly.
I have a 2/4 drop and still have enough space for the bump stops and won't bottom out. If I hauled alot of stuff or towed a trailer alot it would likely bottom out alot, but then I'd just install some helper bags.
