falken ziex st-04 haven't had a problem yet with them...great rain tires IMO

how do those nitto 420s do in the rain for those that run them? i know there great on dry pavement but what about rain? snow? im eyeing those for my next set of tires.

Sorry for the delay in a reply to you all. I currently have 285 60 18's on her right now, I know the market is slim for this size but I like the wide stance of the tires. I really don't want to go any more skinny on the tire. I would go fatter thought ( 295 or 305) if possible?

I had these tires on my gmc 2500HD 8.1l/allison... they sucked in the sand, and were horrible towing in the rain. I was towing an 85 two door blazer on my 3000# trailer and at a stop light that had a good bank to it, I couldn't baby the truck out when the light turned green. I had to use 4x4 and even then the tires spun but it got going. They did wear very well tough and the FWY manners where excellent.
