Default got a problem with the wife's 99 Yukon

She went to run some errands today, got in it, and it started up, but then dies before she could get it out of the driveway.
she managed to get it started, and back up into here spot, and after that it would start and die with in a few seconds.
I have replaced the fuel filter, not to long ago, March I do believe.
and spark plug wires, and cleaned the rotor cap. (alot of carbon build up.)
I know it's getting a spark cause it will atleast start and run for a few seconds.
but Im not sure if maybe it's the fuel pump, or filter.

anybody got any suggestions?
Thanks,
Daniel

The fuel pump sounds like it could be the culprit ..

Check out the ingnition coils, I had a similar problem with my sisters ford crown vic. It would turn on be when you shift it to drive or reverse it would die. Took it to autozone and they helped me out, laters.

This would also be my first bet. You can spray some carb cleaner or something right into the throttle body and see if you can keep it running on that. That way you will know that it is fuel related and also rule out any ignition problems that you may have been thinking about. I'd try that first, but it sounds like a fuel pump to me also.

Also, check to see if the fuel pressure regulator is leaking.
