Default Green spark plugs???

When I did my cam swap I pulled out the ngk 55 plugs and the plugs where green, the porcelain, strap and the electrode where green and the electrode was melted abit.
So I put new ngk 55ix iradiums in and did the swap and the truck ran great till i swapped my circle D in, after i swapped it in i have been having problems with the truck stalling when I drive slow and then stop so I cleaned the throttle body etc.... And checked the plugs and the new plugs are starting to turn green again.
Any idea what would cause them to turn green and what would cause the stalling?

Thanks, Mitch

Are you mysteriously loosing coolant or is the truck smoking at all?

ethanol in the gas
Coolant should be orange dex cool unless he swapped to green for some reason.
But a coolant issue should be noticed low coolant or white smoke from tail pipe

Green -ethanol
RED- octane booster

I am still running dex cool, not losing any coolant. I just did intake gaskets a couple months ago when I did knock sensors.
Hard to tell if it smokes cause it's cold out here but didn't smoke in the summer at all.
No nitrous usage, I am still running stock timing at the moment and always have. I am waiting for my auto cal from black bear.
As far as gas I have always ran 87 octane from a very busy coop station and switched to 89 since the cam swap. I do believe it's ethanol blended.
Thanks for the quick responses guys, keep them coming.
Oh yeah, u could be right, they might be trying to match the truck. Haha

I wish I would have kept the old set but I was so excited about doing the cam swap I tossed them.
The new ones are just just starting to turn green on the tip of the strap, I will try and get pics tomorrow
I thought the 55s where just to hot of a plug for my original set up, but having a stock replacement start doing it gets me wondering...
