Man those are some great stories. I think we all have encountered some real dumbasses in our time. Just like when I was having small talk with me and my buddy about how my water pump had to be replaced on my old truck and this genius comes over and says "Yeah man It was hard when I replaced mine I had to take out the crankshaft and everything" Of course I was like WTF!!!!

I didnt say a word after that!! Damn Idiot!!!!!

you think that's bad, I talked to a guy at the gas station the other day who had a yellow SRT10. He said it will run 170mph in the 1/4. after that I turned and left.

Yeah, pulling the crankshaft is the hardest part of a water pump job. Hard to understand some of the ignorant stuff you here.

Hell if you think that's something I work w/ a guy that swears he hit 160 in his '85 Chevy Dually w/ a "three quarter race cam in that bad boy". Also did I mention this was while pullin a 35' horse trailer.

Tell him he can run 8's with more air in the tires. He works in a tire store, so I bet he will use his tire store expertise and agree with you but say he hasn't tried it yet.

BTW, MIcky Thomson make a 10 & 11" slick that will work on our 7" wheels.

Ever known anyone who,if asked, "have you ever done..."? ,they say yes? Of course you only ask them that if you suspect they are BSers or,worse, pathological liars.
I knew a retired a retired Army medical officer who told me he was instrumental in bringing the UH-1 (Huey) helicopter into existence.
