ok i saw in a truckn mag a couple months back someone did a h2 dash swap and before i saw that i was wanting todo it...but my main question would be is how would you get a floor shifter to work in the silverado/gmc??? what all would be needed todo the console/dash swap?

i found a guy selling the console part but no shifter part for 80 bucks so im gunna hop onto that deal asap...

 

If I remember correctly from the article, you must cut the dash and section it in the middle to make it fit. Other than that, I wouldn't know where to start.
