I mailed a Vette rear end that got lost; Fed Ex. The thing weighted 75-90 lbs!

 

Got an update....Ups accidentally put it on the wrong truck and it ended up in Ohio. It should be at my house friday

 

I used to work in the Fort Worth Hub of UPS. Yall would be shocked at all the crazy **** that goes on with some of the packages... The belt system they use to transport all the packages to different truck is decent, but about 2-5 times a night depending on the volume, a jam happens on the belts. Usually when that jam happens several packages get destroyed and torn wide open, spilling the contents everywhere. sometimes it is a simple task of repackaging them, other times the contents get piled up in a special section and left there. Eventually they end up at several warehouses where they are sold... Ever since i worked there i put about 10 times as much tape on the package than what is actually needed....

 

I know exactly what you mean cause i worked at the little rock hub for 2 years loading tractor trailers.
