Something's up with mine too, the compressor seems to run whenever the fan is on. Damn thing also cycles like crazy and engages very roughly. I need to get it checked out.

Recirc. button is OFF i tried it on the way back from dallas tonight just on the vents to the face and it kicked on then too... Like GMCtrk said mine also kicks on rather rough and noisy

Yes it has dual zone controls all digital

On a side note i wanna say i never noticed this before i started modding... Possibly something in the tune?? With my original post cam tune the place could never get it to idle right with the A/C on so there's no telling what all the tried to change. Justin said it was def a jacked up tune when he got a hold of it... Just a thought i dunno

I've heard of this before, but mine does not function this way AFAIK. I pretty much always have my recirc button set to fresh, maybe that makes a difference. I'll have to check it out next time I get a chance. I don't have dual zone and I'm a rc if that makes a difference

Dual zone is the most aggreviating thing GM has done to these trucks. Of the 30+ in our fleet I bet we've replaced the dash control on at least 20 trucks, some of them multiple times. We never had this problem on the manual contol. GM decided that dual control was required in order to get leather.
