Exclamation HELP- 12v Light soure. Pod. Gauge.

I'm trying to wire up my gauges and I'm not sure where to find a 12v Light source. I'm trying not to splice into any of my wires so I bought one of those "Add-a-line"(by buss fusses), which takes power from your fuss block. I have found a 12 ignition switch and a 12 light switch that comes on with the head lights but I can't find a 12v source that varies with the dash lighting. Not sure if you guys know if there is a 10amp fuss that I could plug into that varies. If I have to I can splice into a line.

I have one more question. When you guys added a full gauge pod did you have to cut up or put holes into the factory pillar in order to run you lines.

I cut my pillar for the gauge wires. And for the light source, I tapped into the dimmer switch. There is a thread bout it somewhere on here that shows the exact wire, I can't remember as its been a while.

Yea, you're going to have to tap into the dimmer switch to get a varying voltage source that dims with the interior lights. It's really not that big of a deal if done properly.
