HELP!!!! Can not get the engine to seperate from the trans... (5.3)

Thats why its important to remove the transmission atleast every 6 months...

ok just kidding.. the dowel pins are bad about rusting and then gets stuck on the Alum bell housing.

Ive been that guy.....

A threaded rod, no head.

I believe it's a 13mm nut that holds the dip stick tube in place. But after that is removed there is still the 15mm nut on a stud, it's easy to miss, I've missed it before

I would describe a stud as a nut fastening two things together. There have been several people that have thought the nut was securing the transmission to the block not realizing the bolt had to be removed.

Maybe I described it wrong. Does that make sense?

But its a Bolt with the Stud on top.

I know what you meant, it was just easier for me to describe as a stud. Just giving you a hard time.
