On my way back from Tampa,Fl i got a hole in a Gallon jug of Lemonade hole damn thing leaked out....Never got the Stains out Tryed every thing i was just happy to get the Smell out..had to pull out all the pading on the Drivers side.....You Can get Used Carpet for Under 100 bucks new for a little more....Still less than SteamCleaning..But you have to Get a Hard to find Socket For the Seats...only Snap on and Mack tools Sell it...Good luck..

wonder if castrol degreaser is too potent for carpeting? i know it works good on oil. try getting the smell of wine out of upholstery. that smell lingered forever, especially during the summer months

Barfed up wine is even nicer.

You know that syrup you can get in your coffee at starbucks? I had a bottle of that **** in my truck, it leaked, and I didn't notice until days later until somebody was like, "Your truck smells like butterscotch."
Do you know what dried syrup on carpet is like? Well, that Simple Green worked like a charm
I don't know about oil, but Simple Green has worked for me.

I think the Simple Green and Castrol are both good choices. If it were me, it me my excuse to get a new carpet all together. I think Auto Custom Carpets has the whole rug for under $200, maybe less. That way you can get a brand new rug whatever color you want. It even smells new! I've used their products several times before and had nothing but good luck with them. Good luck!

That bolt for the seats is just a Torx bit, you can get it at any hardware store.
