Default Help, I'm having sick thoughts....

What if I took all the goodies (in sig) off my Denali. Could this be somewhat easily swapped into a RCSB 4x4 5.3 Z71 1500? I'm thinking about doing this and buying a cheap "daily driver" for my Nanny/Mom and I to share...

Any big issues doing the swap? What about the trans? Could I dump the 4L60 into the Denali (I'd trade it in)?

How much extra piping changes would there be for the STS setup?

Any other thoughts? Comments? Can you slap me now?

If you want to go fast then I'd say yeah but sometimes having a big truck is better.

I'd swap all the turbo parts of course. I also put in Comp Cams pushrods and springs. Could I put the stock ones from the 5.3 in the 6.0 Denali? Also, would it be ok to put a 4L60 in the Denali when it comes with a 4L65? I'd feel bad for the sucker than ended up with it.

I'd also have to swap the guages/pod and have all new lines run. I guess it really shouldn't be all that difficult.

I wonder how the stall would act in a, what, 1500lb lighter truck?

How the turbo mounts is a little different, but still no big deal. The front half of the STS kit will go right on the truck. Its the back half that is somewhat different.
